You do not need to understand or use all of Dotty at once. You can begin with a small part of the app, use only what helps, and ignore the rest for now.

As your system grows, more of Dotty can become useful. You might begin with a few core items, then later add planners, notebooks, habits, or metrics when they solve a real problem for you.

Start simple. Add structure when you need it. Let the system grow with your work.

As you explore Dotty, you will occasionally see the following button, usually in the top right of windows and panels:

Clicking this button opens this guide at the section most closely related to what you are doing. Use the guide whenever you want to learn more about a feature or discover new ways to arrange your system.

You do not need to read this guide front to back. Read the parts that help you now. The rest will still be here when you need it.
